Class Experience
In this 40 minute small group class, young artists will create a beautiful underwater scene using a variety of art mediums. My classroom is a place where learners are able to add their own creative ideas throughout the lesson. First, learners will be given easy to follow, step-by-step instructions for drawing the fish, sea turtles, coral, seagrass, and other sea creatures. I have been an art educator for over 25 years. I earned my bachelor's degree in Art Education (K-12) from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have taught in public schools, private schools, as well as homeschool co-op groups and private lessons. I have been teaching art on Outschool since August 2021.
Watercolor Paper Pencil Sharpie Marker (or another BLACK permanent water-resistant marker) Crayons or oil pastels Paintbrush-large flat brush Cup of water Surface for color mixing (jar lid, plate, plastic surface) Paper towels (this painting can be a bit messy)
