Dive into Art: Create an Underwater Scene with Mixed Media! 🎨 Overview: Join us for a 40-minute artistic journey where young learners will design their own unique underwater scene. This engaging class encourages creativity and exploration! 🐠 Drawing Exploration: Guided step-by-step instructions to sketch fish, sea turtles, coral reefs, and more. Incorporate personal touches, making every artwork unique. We outline and fill in each sea creature using a black Sharpie marker. 🖍️ Preparation with Crayons: Use crayons to set the foundation for the wax-resist technique. We use white to emphasize the sunlight shining down on the ocean surface. Bright colors such as pink and orange can also be used to create coral. 🌊 Watercolor Wonder: Dive into the world of watercolor with techniques like wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, & wax-resist. Blend beautiful shades of blues and greens, transitioning from light to dark. 🗣️ Share and Discuss: This class allows for learners to proudly showcase their masterpieces. Engage in lively discussions about fascinating sea creatures and their habitats. Benefits of Mixed Media Art: 🔹 Expands experimentation with diverse art mediums and techniques. 🔹 Enhances decision-making abilities and boosts self-confidence. 🔹 Cultivates a unique artistic style for each learner. 🔹 Encourages self-expression and imaginative thinking. 🔹 Sparks innovative perspectives, transcending the boundaries of the art classroom. Let's design an underwater world together!
