In this 3-day Marine Life Summer Camp, students will learn characteristics and facts about different marine life. We will learn what these creatures eat, how they sleep, and other fun facts. This teacher will use slide presentations, games and activities during class. Each day a different animal or animals will be presented. We wil also have play games or do a craft. Please see sudent materials needed. Day 1 -- Topic: Sea horse, and Sea Turtles with a sea turtle craft. Day 2 -- Topic Dolphins, and Manatees -- Lets play marine life Bingo! Day 3 -- Sharks, We will put it all together with a student vs. teacher game.

Supply List
Teacher will send printouts for students to have for class for Day 1 and Day 2. Day 1) Sea turtle printout, crayons or markers, tape or glue. Day 2) Marine Life Bingo card sent to each student. Some type of counter such as cereal, dry beans, checkers, etc. We will most likely play more than 1 game so something other than a marker will be useful.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am passionate about teaching in a way that is engaging, inviting, and encouraging. I am a strong believer that using creativity in the learning process is vital for retention and development.
Philosophy: I believe my young learners are at a pivotal time in their lives. Everything is a teachable opportunity from learning how to take turns to learning educational concepts. I believe positive social and learning experiences are so important for continuous growth. It is important to me that my classroom provides a comfortable and fun community for our young learners where they are encouraged to express themselves. I love incorporating games in my curriculum that will promote practice and share my students interests with the other learners in the class.

I look forward to teaching classes promoting educational standards for Kindergarten - 3rd grade, as well as classes on ocean creatures, and crafts.
Some fun facts about me are that I love cooking, crafting, and spending time with my husband, my 2 grown sons and my adorable dog. I love to travel both land and sea!
