Description
Class Experience
Students will work as a team on a high level engineering project to create all or a portion of an ocean scientific research lab from start to finish. As a team the learners will decide which level of the challenge to complete and will use teamwork to complete the challenge in the alloted time.
Mrs. Fimbel has been teaching TinkerCAD 2D design for several years including one year on Outschool. Additionally Mrs. Fimbel presented about using TinkerCAD in interdisciplinary projects at the Texas Computer Educators Association Convention in 2019.
Learners will need to commit some time between classes to complete their portion of the project. Depending on the level of competition the learners decide to participate in they may need to put in an hour or more of work each day to complete their portion of the design.
