Ready, set...Read! In this one-time class, students will improve their reading comprehension skills by practicing their visualization during an instructor-led story read-aloud. As we share, discuss, and use our visualizations to collaborate on Nearpod , learners will begin making those awesome memory connections. Ability to access near pod activity, teacher will provide access code and link for students to follow
No formal assessment, however, if parents want specific feedback I am more than happy to provide!
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The short story that we will be reading is an original text that is equivalent to a 2nd-3rd grade reading level.
