This class will teach your learner how to do multi-digit multiplication with a deep understanding of the steps involved. Each week a packet will be put in the classroom for that week's activities, therefore an access to a printer is needed to be successful. Each class starts with a quick icebreaker question to welcome the students and make them feel at ease. Next it is onto the task at hand. Students should have a small handheld whiteboard for class interaction and for me to be able to see their work and give valuable feedback. I also offer this class as a flexible schedule class where you work at your own pace and there are not live meetings. Parental Guidance
Students will be asked to use scissors to cut out math materials for lessons prior to class. Parental guidance is recommended.

Welcome! My name is Debbie and I am a certified teacher with a Bachelors of Science in Education with a concentration in the visual arts. I also hold Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on math and science. I have been lucky enough throughout my career to have taught grades K through 6 and be a math and reading interventionist. Math is one of my favorite subjects to teach and I love thinking of creative ways to get students to love it too and gain confidence.
