This class will cover the following information about the periodic table: 1. The history and purpose of the periodic table. 2. The importance of understanding chemical properties and predicting elements behavior. 3. Elements and Symbols (What are Elements!?) 4. Periods and Groups 5. Key Sections (Metals, Non Metals, Transition Metals, Noble Gases) 6. Atomic Number and Atomic Mass 7. Protons, Neutrons, Electrons of Atoms, 8. Elements are Pure substance and Combing to form all things.

1. Please bring a copy of the periodic table and a science Notebook (paper) 2. Pencil, Colored Pencils, and Crayons.
