Students will have an in-depth understanding of the concepts of cultural relativism and self-identity theory. Babysitters will identify and examine bias, and learn how to create multicultural lessons and activities.

Class Experience

Trainees will have a more culturally sensitive perspective about the children, families, and individuals served on a daily basis. 

Trainees will understand the impact of their choices, ideology, teaching methods, communication, and relationships created from their sense of cultural relativism and respecting social identity in academic settings.

Trainees will be able to design a fulfilling and meaningful learning experience promoting multicultural learning and guiding for children in understanding “self” for a holistic learning experience.   

Comprehend and examine the benefits of identity safety family learning environments
•	Examine, analyze, and discuss a video on identity safety family learning environments
•	Identify, analyze, and discuss four major ways to create identity safety classrooms
•	Discover ways to create multicultural activities and lessons.
•	Examine, analyze, and discuss a video on race, ethnicity, and other socio-cultural factors
 I would like to extend my  mentorship  to you and aid you in understanding the fundamentals of owning your business and understanding early childhood as a whole. It is imperative that you understand your role in the lives of children, families, and in the community. You are in fact an extension to the family and play an important part.

 I have a undergrad degree in sociology and a graduate degree in early childhood studies. I am a national & state early childhood trainer for early childhood professional. I am the author of  this training course on cultural relativism and self-identity. I have taught this course in many states around the country and reached online learners from all over the country and the world. This has been a powerful course! I wrote this course to train teachers in the early childhood about the importance of culture and how to apply concepts and theories of culture when teaching children. I want to pass this information to students who have taken Cupcake Babysitting Training to gain knowledge about culture and how to apply  research based information in their entrepreneurship and when taking care of young children.
