I am a licensed English teacher for students in grades 5-12 in the state of Minnesota. I spent 4 years teaching in a middle school classroom. I began teaching on Outschool in the fall of 2022, and I have loved every minute of it! I grew up hearing many of the biblical and mythological stories that we will discuss in class. I absolutely love learning about the stories and characters that authors think are important enough to reference in their own work.

Some mythological stories may include death or harsh punishments. I will use Google Slides or Nearpod during class while sharing my screen. Students do not need any accounts to participate in class. Students may open a Nearpod presentation on their device to actively participate during class. This is not necessary. Students can still interact through unmuting themselves to answer questions or using the Zoom chat.
