Class Experience

French language learners who have had at least one year of French will find this flexible class useful for reviewing grammar in a flexible format.  Examples of students who might benefit are:  high school or middle school students preparing for final exams, students who are taking a semester or quarter off from language learning, students who are struggling in their current level 1/2/3 French language classes, students who want to advance more quickly from their level 1 class, students who...

Students will improve their French proficiency and gain confidence in the language.  Students will be able to:
-Describe themselves and others
-Talk about their hobbies and what they and others are doing
-Describe what belongs to whom 
-Talk about where they are going in a city and what they and others are going to do in the future
-Describe what they have and don't have and use idiomatic expressions to talk about their preferences

I have a M.A in French and a B.A in Education and have been teaching these topics in public schools for over 10 years.  I have lots of expertise in explaining these difficult grammar concepts to students as well as the digital resources to share with them in order to make it comprehensible for them.

Students will be given notes, practice and activities to complete on their own each week.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
