Students will have a completed drawing at the end of class that they can choose to continue working on once the workshop is over.Class Experience
Students will be given step by step visual instruction while they draw along with the teacher. I use a two camera system so that I can look at and talk to my students while they are watching an over head camera that will demonstrate what I am drawing. I will be discussing drawing techniques, and coloring methods, as well as talking about different creatures under the sea. At the beginning of class I try and find out what sea animal your student wants to learn to draw, so I am limiting the class to 8 students.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about form and construction using basic shapes to create an underwater scene. Students will also be shown basics of sketching and outlining as well as how to color using a variety of media. Students will learn about forms and shapes of different aquatic life and creatures.
