In this weekly class for young French beginners, students will meet once per week to learn and practice numbers, letters, greetings, weather and the calendar in nearly-immersive French.
Class experience
In this weekly course that does not build on itself, students will come and participate in a circle time in French. The class will begin with quick introductions in English, and then we will switch over to learning in French. This class will be in about 75% French and 25% English. I believe it's important not to lose students so I will ask them questions like "Quel temps fait it ? How is the weather?" so they are able to follow along throughout the class. I grew up in a bilingual household here in Canada and we spoke both French and English growing up. Learning multiple languages is a great tool for world travelers, and it is a fantastic tool to stimulate your brain. I love speaking French and cannot wait to share my love of this language with you!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
