Class Experience
Yoga just for tweens! Together we'll explore yoga poses, breathing techniques, meditation, and mantra. We'll learn to let go of external pressures and expectations by turning our attention inward and trusting our internal voices. This class will improve strength, balance, flexibility, coordination and endurance. It will also increase focus and attention (good for homework later), self-confidence, self-esteem, and a positive self-image. Oh yeah, and it will be fun! Join us weekly or drop in...
Students will: * Build a foundation of yoga poses and sequences * Increase strength, balance, flexibility, coordination and endurance * Learn techniques for calming, centering, and focus through breath, movement, and meditation

You understand that yoga includes physical movement and, as is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. By participating, you acknowledge that your child is fit to do so. If they experience any pain or discomfort, they agree to listen to their body, and discontinue the activity. You assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may occur through participation. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment.
