Class Experience

US Grade 2
If you're looking to inject some excitement into your second-grade learning experience, say goodbye to those dull textbooks and dive into these engaging lessons! This innovative self-paced style course offers a unique approach with no live classes, but instead, presents video lessons for students to watch, pause, rewind, and review at their own pace.

For a real thrill, students can challenge themselves with dynamic digital escape rooms designed to enhance their reading and math skills. These interactive games feature a captivating storyline where students can sharpen their reading abilities, all while tackling over 20 math questions per level. From word problems to double and triple-digit addition and subtraction, fractions, skip counting, identifying complex shapes, patterns, place value, telling time, and critical thinking exercises, there's a wide range of 2nd-grade math concepts to explore.

In addition to these exciting activities, students will have the opportunity to conduct hands-on science experiments each week, all documented in their very own science journals. With step-by-step instructional videos provided for each experiment, students can easily follow along at home, creating a classroom-like atmosphere that fosters engagement and participation. The science journal includes a detailed list of supplies, important scientific terms, and explanations for a comprehensive learning experience. Students can record their hypotheses and observations in the journal during the video lessons, enhancing their understanding of the scientific concepts being explored.

Printable worksheets are a valuable resource that can be utilized to provide extra challenge and practice for students. They offer a hands-on approach to learning and allow students to further reinforce their understanding of various concepts. By completing worksheets, students can enhance their problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and overall academic performance. These supplemental materials can be particularly beneficial for students who may need additional practice outside of the classroom environment. Additionally, printable worksheets are convenient for both educators and students as they can be easily accessed and completed at any time. Ultimately, incorporating printable worksheets into a student's learning routine can help to promote academic success and mastery of key subjects.

Hello parents and students,

I encourage learning through enthusiastic engagement. I believe children learn best through curiosity or play. Teaching online has been my passion since 2015. I was an online English teacher with VIPKID for over three years and an Outschool teacher for ever since. VIPKID taught me how to engage with students in a virtual setting. They taught me how to use props, singing and demonstrations to increase learning. I encourage student output and participation during class.

I have a bachelors degree in marketing and science. I am an entrepreneur and business owner. I have also been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. I am a homeschooling mother to my twin sons and my two daughters. I am constantly seeking creative ways for my children and students to learn new things.
