In this ongoing class, we will visit tons of locations to explore and learn about animals! We will discuss and follow step by step instructions to draw many different types of animals under the sea, on land, in the trees, and some extinct!

In this ongoing class, we will travel the world, through a multitude of environments, on the ultimate animal drawing adventure! We will visit Africa, Australia, and America to name a few, while also exploring under the sea, travelling on land, climbing the trees, and soaring the skies! My ongoing drawing class contains step by step instructions for us to draw over 80 different animals, alive and extinct! Week 1, Wednesday, August 18: Mammals (in America, Africa, or Australia) Week 2, Wednesday, August 25: Ocean Animals Week 3, Wednesday, September 1: Pets Week 4, Wednesday, September 8: Reptiles and Amphibians Week 5, Wednesday, September 15: Dinosaurs Week 6, Wednesday, September 22: Farm Animals Week 7, Wednesday, September 29: Insects, Birds, and Bats I have hosted a variety of drawing classes, and our sketchbooks/portfolios never leave empty handed or without great expression of imagination! Depending on the class and difficulty of the draw, we will be able to draw anywhere from 1-3 animals during our class time. Learners will follow step by step, on screen instructions with periodic starts/stops to ensure comprehension and pace. This will help to focus on both auditory and visual direction following, while developing free drawing skills. Learners can be beginners up to advanced art students. With over 80 animals, we will draw a variety of pictures that range from easy to challenging, and will definitely take our artistic abilities to the next level!

Students will need plain paper (or a sketch book/notebook) and drawing utensils such as markers, crayons, or colored pencils for this activity.

Hello, and thank you for your interest in my unique and interactive classes!! My name is Lauren Crandall. I have been a teacher for 13 years, ranging from 1st grade through 12th grade. I have been a public school teacher the whole time, while this is my third year teaching virtually! The online learning environment may not be a physical classroom, but we can create the BEST classroom possible with limitless possibilities! It changes every single day! I love using mobility and fitness throughout the course of delivering content to learners. It is imperative we focus on the importance of physical fitness and nutrition, movement and flexibility, especially in a time when we are limited to our own environments. It is possible to have a blast and learn all about healthy lifestyles at the same time! It is my absolute overall goal to bring fun and engagement to life within the realm of our virtual environment!

I have two dogs, ranging in sizes from small to extra large!! Their names are Emmy & Nova. They can occasionally be seen visiting our class just to say, “Hi!”
