This class is learner-directed. Each learner will be taught at his or her individual level as needed and will progress as the learner leads. We will work on skills such as learning easy chords, strumming patterns, singing and strumming at the same time, writing songs, basic theory, tabs, and moving into learning more complex chords. There are over 200 ukulele chords that students can learn in the process. Students are encouraged to practice weekly to progress in their skills and playing. After each session, students will be sent songs to practice via Outschool messaging. Parents and students can request a one time or ongoing private tutoring session by sending Mrs. Becca a private message.
Learning Goals
Students will increase their knowledge and skills of playing ukulele.
