Description
Class Experience
After taking Ukulele Jumpstart your young strummer will be itching to move on to the next step. This class will pick up where the first one left off! We will continue learning additional chords and chord sequences and applying them to new songs, classics and popular. More focus on strum patterns and an introduction to finger picking will take place as well, giving young strummers a chance to really expand their abilities. Students will be asked to practice songs and strum/chord patterns...
Students will continue to increase their skills and abilities related to ukulele playing, including new chords, new strumming patterns and new songs.
I love being able to play an instrument that is portable - I can take my ukulele anywhere to create music, by myself or with friends and family. I have such a passion for music and feel it can be a great bridge between people.
The student will need to have a ukulele during the sessions in order to get the most out of the class. If you don't have one, there are many really inexpensive ones you can pick up from local music stores or order online. Send me a message if you need help finding one!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
