Class Experience

This ongoing class is for students who have already taken a beginning ukulele course before. Students with no experience can enroll in my "Beginning Ukulele" class: https://outschool.com/classes/beginning-ukulele-k8FCOmgd?usid=8O7tRf4o&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link
They should know how to:
1-Play the basic chords (C, F, G, G7, D, A, Am)
2-Understand the basics of reading TABS (tablature)

We will be learning a new song a week using a variety of method books and popular songs. This class is designed to motivate students to play the ukulele often for enjoyment, and to become the best they can be. Also, it is a class based on group interaction and community learning where students will engage in group activities such as games, karaoke, and group practicing.

The weekly plan will stay as shown below, but I will take students' suggestions for specific songs of their choice and add them as well:
Week of February 21st: Super Mario Theme (TABS)
Week of February 28th: "Happy" by Pharrell Williams
Week of March 7th: "We Will Rock You"
Week of March 14th: “Thinking Out-loud” by Ed Sherman
Week of March 21st: "My Shot" from Hamilton
Week of March 28th "The Entertainer" TABS
Week of April 4th: "I'm a Believer" by Smash Mouth
Week of April 11th : "Never Enough" from the Greatest Showman
Week of April 18th: "Rewrite the Stars" from the Greatest Showman
Week of April 25th: "You'll Be Back" from Hamilton

Learning Goals

The songs that students will learn every week will reinforce the basic techniques they already know, and will help them advance to the next level.
