Hello Everyone! We are so excited to be offering a holiday song ukulele class! For this class, students should know at least F C G and A minor. If not, please enroll in our beginning ukulele class prior to taking this class. In the first class we will review chords and begin learning our first holiday song. As we progress we will review previous songs and learn new songs throughout the course. Class Structure: We begin by reviewing any new chords within a song We will practice rhythm and patterns. We will review old songs We will continue or review new holiday songs. At VPAA we believe that students learn best when they are in a comfortable learning environment. We like to have a lot of fun in class and learn a lot! Week of October 1-7: Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas Week of October 8-14: Jingle Bells Week of October 15-21: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year Week of October 22-28: Winter Wonderland Due to the class length, please try to tune your ukulele before class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn a repertoire of holiday songs so that they can play them during the holiday season.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
We will be learning various holiday songs, and will always use the G rated version of songs.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
