This class is for ukulele players who love music. Join us for a camp that teaches songs and strumming patterns. This is not a Beginner Class. You do need to know the four major chords of C, G, F, and Am. This is for All Ages!
Class experience
This is NOT a beginner class, Students really need to know these chords and be able to switch between them in order to get the most out of the class, to keep up, and not get frustrated. During these classes we will get more familiar with the strumming patterns and how to play songs. Your child does needs to know how to play the four basic chords C, A minor, F, and G, in order to take this course. Students will gain the song knowledge and be able to play many songs by the end of class by strumming and putting chords together to form songs.
I have been teaching for 17 years, I have a passion for music and love to teach it to beginning students. Music opens so many possibilities and Ukuleles are an easy instrument to learn. You can learn something one day and be able to play it right away. I teach PreK-5th grade general music and art, This including learning pitched and non pitched instruments, music history, movement, and ukulele.

There are many free apps that you can download to help tune your ukulele. I use Ukulele Tuner app and you can use this to tune the ukulele before class.
