Class experience
This is NOT a beginner class, Students really need to know these chords and be able to switch between them in order to get the most out of the class, to keep up, and not get frustrated. During these classes we will get more familiar with the strumming patterns and how to play songs. Your child does need to know how to play the four basic chords C, A minor, F, and G, in order to take this course. I have been teaching for 17 years, I have a passion for music and love to teach it to beginning students. Music opens so many possibilities and Ukuleles are an easy instrument to learn. You can learn something one day and be able to play it right away. I teach PreK-5th grade general music and art, This including learning pitched and non pitched instruments, music history, movement, and ukulele.
1 file available upon enrollmentI will provide the information and chord finger positions and all they need is a ukulele and the willingness to learn something new every day. There are many free apps that you can download to help tune your ukulele. I use Ukulele Tuner app and it would be great if you could tune the ukulele before class. We will talk about tuning the first class so after that class they should be able to tune the ukulele before the rest of the classes.
