Description
Class Experience
The student will learn and improve upon their musical ability with playing the ukulele and memorizing its chord fingerings. Singing is heavily encouraged, although it is not necessary a part of the curriculum (songs/melodies will be taught and singing or humming the tune is helpful to beginner students).
Music will be posted in the main classroom page and assigned for practice each week, based on the material covered in the newest completed class/lesson.
1 file available upon enrollment-Ukulele (Note: The teacher uses a "soprano" or "concert" ukulele, but any real ukulele instrument will be acceptable. However, please note that the tone/pitch of the student instrument may be slightly different than that of the teacher, depending in the size difference.) -Ukulele Tuner (app version or small digital tuning device are recommended)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Please note that the class maximum is listed as 2 and not 1, in the case that two students decide to take this course together with parental approval (e.g. friends, siblings, relatives, etc.). However, if only one student signs up, I (the teacher) will immediately change that course listing/schedule to "PRIVATE", to ensure that only that one student takes the class with me.
