Students will learn the basics to start playing ukulele. From the origins, how to tune and the basic 3 chords. If you would like to request a specific time, send me a message and I will gladly acomodate you in my schedule :)
Class Experience
In this session, students can continue and expand their ukelele skills with me individually as a one time class experience OR new learners can get the private time to learn the basics of the Ukulele. From learning the different parts and tuning the instrument, to learning the basic 3 chords that will allow them to play a bunch of songs. The class is designed for students to learn what they need for our lesson and practice what is instructed on their own before our next meeting.
This class is taught in Spanish.

I am a professional singer and music therapist. I have been working with children with and without special needs through my music therapy practice and have been a teaching artist for different organizations, public library, museum, etc.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

2 files available upon enrollmentA TUNER- An electronic tuner or any Tuning app will work. A chair/space to sit preferably with feet on the floor. Playing on the bed/couch or high bar stool chairs is NOT RECOMMENDED for not developing bad postures and habits and we can get focused to our hands and finger coordination. If house or learning space is loud have headphones available.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Student will need a tuner, any electronic tuner or any application for the smart phone or tablet would work. I will also be adding songs and chord charts as needed, these can be kept physically in a folder/binder or downloaded and be available to be used electronically.
