Ukule-Yay! Multi-Week: A Month of One-On-One Ukulele Lessons
What's included
5 live meetings
2 hrs 55 mins in-class hoursHomework
Students will be expected to remember past courses or prior one on one lesson material. Students also should talk to me in the classroom about what they want to learn so I can prepare. If students want to get the most out of class they will practice between lessons, it is possible to succeed without practicing outside of class but skills will develop more slowly.Class Experience
Beginner - Advanced Level
These private lessons are 35 minutes weekly for your learner to learn whatever they want. We will work on the skills they are interested in building and meet a goal they want to achieve. Music is best learned at your pace and with what you want to achieve in mind. I love teaching learners who are excited to learn no matter their skill level. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced player who wants more material to practice, try a month of lessons with me! Examples of what we can cover: •Chord charts and how to play new chords •Chords progressions and transitioning between chords •Strum patterns •Performance techniques and gaining confidence •How to sing and play ukulele at the same time (I am a professional singer and musical theater performer) •New Songs (full songs are likely to take 2 lessons or you can enroll in a one hour course) If you’ve never taken a class with me I will contact you about your student’s prior knowledge if they have any.
Learning Goals
Students to gain confidence and get over performance anxiety while playing ukulele.
Students to learn something new that they are excited about!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome to my page! I am a professional actor and a summer camp counselor who teaches ukulele to kids of all ages. I also offer classes for audition prep, scene work, and bullet journaling!
I have worked as a counselor at camps around the United States for over eight years with kids of all ages physically and developmentally. I have experience working with groups as well as teaching one on one, and so here on Outschool I offer both small group classes and private lessons.
As an actor, director, writer, and producer, I have worked on murder mysteries, children's theater, short plays, musicals, and voice acting in video games, immersive theater, and podcasts.
I value an inclusive learning environment so no matter your identity or background--I want to make art together! Every student can learn a new skill, learning should be fun, and no questions are too silly.
Parents feel free to message me if you'd like me to schedule a session on a specific day or time! My inbox is always open!
FUN FACT: My favorite musical is Les Mis, so much so that my cat's name is Gavroche.
