UKE Can Do It!: Ukulele for Beginners
In this ongoing class, beginning ukulele students will learn the basics of the instrument as they work to build their "chord vocabulary" so they can play TONS of songs!
Class experience
In this class, it's all about the ukulele! We'll cover the basics of ukulele playing as we work toward playing some of our favorite songs! Students will have opportunities to play alone and with others, sing along (if they'd like to!), and build their musical skills as we jam together on our ukuleles. I believe that students learn best by DOING, so this engaging course will keep them busy through games, videos, and slides...and allow them to request and present THEIR favorite songs too! Week...
Students will develop an understand of the ukulele, learn a variety of chords and strumming patterns, as well as begin to understand how to read ukulele charts and tabs. They will be able to play many songs and chord progressions, and even improve their improvisation skills!
