*NEW SECTIONS STARTING, AUGUST 24!* In this fun weekly class, students will develop and deepen their reading and writing skills. This is not a class for beginning readers. This is a class for students who can already read and write relatively independently - this class will build on those skills! (If you're not sure if this class is suitable for your learner - please get in touch! I also run a similar class for 6-8 year olds.) We will develop key reading and writing skills, explore grammar, learn parts of speech and language devices, and study articles, stories and poems. Lessons will be presented on powerpoint slides, with occasional accompanying worksheets. The lessons will be fun and interactive, with short bursts of activities to keep students engaged. I have a Masters and a PGCE from Oxford, and many years experience teaching in a variety of schools across the UK. *Please note - I also run this class for 6 - 8 year olds. *
