The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about the technical specifications of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, facts about the different variants, and how the aircraft was used in Operation Gothic Serpent in Mogadishu Somalia in 1993. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There are also two short videos about the Black Hawk Down event. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
