By the end of this course, you'll be able to use start using cursive in your daily life! This is what we'll do in each class, but I may make some changes to best suit your goals: Day 1: Let's start at the beginning I'll ask you about your goals with cursive, previous knowledge, and writing priorities so I can best teach you. We'll also write your name if you haven't learned it before. We'll also use this as a chance to find a cursive style that suits you! Day 2: Lower case We'll start writing the lower case alphabet today. As we write, we'll connect the letters together and you'll be gaining real-world experience with cursive straight away! Day 3: Upper case We'll write the upper case letters in cursive. I may show you different ways to write each letter if one of your goals is also to be able to read cursive. Day 4: Finishing up the lower and upper case If we haven't finished the lower and upper case alphabet, we'll finish up today. Day 5: Review goals and assess progress We'll return to your original goals and decide what our priorities for this week will be. Today is the best time to change your goals if you'd like to make any adjustments; flexibility is also a part of learning! Day 6: Memory exercise with lower case You'll likely use lower case more often than upper case, today we'll play a memory game. This is a game you can also play by yourself, and it's designed to help you memorize letter formation, so you can also play by yourself. Day 7: Memory exercise with lower and upper case We'll play the same game as yesterday, and integrate the upper case letters into it. If you like this game, you can also play it by yourself, a family member or a friend after the course! Day 8: Finishing touches and final questions Today we'll focus on miscellaneous questions or difficulties that often come up with cursive and I'll recommend ways you can use it in your daily life to maintain your new skill!

I've taught my own original curriculum at a high-end private training school for six years, and now I'm working independently to offer my courses online! I have an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and am TESOL Certified.
I value students learning by having fun and connecting to stories both academically and through life experience. I'm also a lover of debates! I believe in encouraging students to hone their existing strengths and interests to thrive in an academic environment.
I've taught everything from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to 1984, but my ultimate favorite to teach is anything Harry Potter! Critical thinking is also another one of my favorite things to teach.
