Two Research-Based Note-Taking Systems to Significantly Enhance Learning

Dr. Schmidt will explain how to use Question and Answer form of note-taking and the Cornell System of note-taking both in class and out of class. Students will learn how to use the Question and Answer form of note-taking and the Cornell System in order to be more focused, more attentive and more engaged both in class and out of class. BOTH of these systems are designed to allow students to become confident, accountable learners. They move students from passive to active learners! Students will learn how to use these systems to learn from both readings and class discussions/lectures. Finally, students will learn how to use these systems as effective ways to study for quizzes and tests.
