In each class, we will write a "pangram," which is a sentence that contains every letter in the alphabet at least one time! Some pangrams may be in English, and some may not, but they will all most certainly contain the entire alphabet. Classes will vary, but this is the basic structure of a typical class: 1: Welcome! Basics like writing on the line, pencil grip, Zoom etiquette for this ongoing class. This will be my least "chatty" class. What I mean by this is I'll be speaking a...
Students will maintain their cursive writing abilities in this relaxing, low-key, "follow along with me" style class.
Students are always invited and encouraged to work on their penmanship in their daily life, and are welcome to use the pangrams.
Bring a pen/pencil and lined paper. Ordinary lined paper with the blue lines and the pink margin is my first choice, but any lined paper will do. Personally, I don't think you should bring an eraser because it's better to: make a mistake, look at it, and write it better next time. That's how we learn!
I will periodically check student's work, and provide feedback, but this class is focused on maintaining penmanship skills, rather than teaching students who are new to cursive.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
