Class experience
In this one time class, students will learn how to write their own age appropriate songs and sing them in class together. Songs will be easy and students will learn in a positive, encouraging, fun and educational environment. My teaching style is fun, engaging and encouraging. Each student will select a topic they love and will be encouraged to write easy songs based on the topic they selected. They will learn melodies and different rhythms for the songs and sing them for their families. ...
Creative writing, song writing (beginner friendly), public speaking skills, confidence in social settings, sentence structure and pronunciation. Learners will learn how to write easy songs they can share and have fun singing to their families and friends.
I have been teaching songwriting, poetry and creative writing/music for many years. I am TEFL Certified and have a Communications Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. I have taken Creative Writing Liberal Arts courses at SUNY Purchase and I have volunteered my services to youth and adults in the creative arts field to inspire them and bring out their own creativity with confidence and gentle guidance. I have been singing and writing my own songs for over 15 years, I have a performing band and have recorded my own songs professionally. I have taught and volunteered in person and online and I understand each learner is an individual so I love to inspire each learner on their own level with gentle guidance, positive encouragement and a nurturing environment.
