In this one-time class, students will create name art and participate in a fast-paced, Scattegories style word game.

Join me for games and activities and interact with others as I lead a 30-minute craft and 30-minute group game! -Name Art: I'll go step-by-step to teach you how to write your name and cut it out in a specific way to create a funky design that you can decorate as desired. -Stop The Boat: In groups and/or individual teams, we'll play multiple rounds of a fast-paced word game where you must try to think of and write a unique answer for a specific category, based on a given letter for each round. (Categories can include: food or cartoon character for example.) There are no special skills or knowledge that students require, so please feel free to join!

Name Art: -Two sheets of construction paper (2 different colors are best) -Marker or pen to write with -Scissors -Glue/glue stick -Decorative items of your choice (glitter glue, sparkles/spangles, googly eyes, etc.) Stop The Boat: -Paper -Something to write with

As someone who's worked for 12 years (so far!) with children aged 3-17 in school programs, summer camps, resorts and cruise ships around the world, I take pride in building and providing fun, engaging, educational and entertaining experiences for kids and families.
I've taught Video Production at camp and volunteered in Peru to teach English overseas in the past. My general teaching philosophy is to learn by doing, in a fun and entertaining way, to inspire a love for the subject at hand.
A kid at heart, I enjoy all things film and I'm an avid traveler who loves learning about new cultures and places; I'm lucky enough to say I've visited all seven continents.
