During the tween years, it’s essential to develop a positive relationship with the body. Yoga is known to have many benefits, both physical and mental. From maintaining flexibility to building strength, increasing focus, and enhancing calm, yoga has something to offer everyone. In this weekly ongoing class, we will focus on the self-empowering and calming aspects of yoga in a supportive, uplifting environment. This class is taught in English.
Students are welcome to bring a yoga mat or beach towel, but it's not required. They may also wish to have water available.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Please ensure a clear, clutter free space for easy movement. Students should have nonslip socks or bare feet. They may also want water to maintain hydration. As with any physical activity, there is a risk for injury. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and take breaks when needed.
