In this ongoing club, your child will get the opportunity to socialize with their peers while working on their crafting projects. This club is perfect for any tween who loves arts and crafts and wants to work on their craft projects and learn more about different types of crafts they can try. We will start each club by sharing a little bit about the project we are currently working on. We will then move into a questions and answers section where children can ask each other for advice or work out any common issues that can come up when working on their craft. Next, we will discuss a craft that interests the group. it could be something they have materials for but have never tried, something they love, or something they'd like to try. After that, we will work on our projects and socialize. We will end each class by setting a goal for the week. This is a student-led club, so topics are selected and can even be taught by students while facilitated by the teacher.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I have been a classroom teacher for seven years and am so excited to bring my expertise and hobbies to teaching on Outschool. I have my undergraduate degree in elementary education with a minor in music, my graduate degree in childhood mathematics and a certification in special education. So far in my career, I have taught grades K-4. I love teaching all subjects. My favorite subject to teach in the classroom is math because there are so many fun and visual ways to understand complex mathematical concepts. I offer classes in reading, writing, math, music, and art. I value, support, and encourage all learners and want to make my classes engaging and fun for everyone.
