This is an ongoing class for your tween/teen to experience the benefits of slow yoga and mindfulness. This practice will help them to be present in the moment and reduce their stress and anxiety.

Description

Class Experience

1. Students can improve their self-awareness and therefore their interoception. 
2. Slow mindful yoga can improve our mind-body connection and help us understand who we are.
3. By allowing the body and mind connection through yoga you can reduce stress. 
4. Start a journey of self-awareness, self-confidence, and mindfulness
I am a certified Yoga Alliance yoga teacher.  I also a certified wellness coach and meditation guide. I love yoga and I love sharing it along with all of its benefits with my students.  
Students are encouraged to continue their yoga practice throughout the week.

Please also note: yoga is a physical activity and injuries can occur if students aren't supervised Students should have a yoga mat or a towel for class. If you are using a towel please make sure it is not on a slippery surface. Bare feet is preferable as it allows for a better grip. But if you would like to wear socks please make sure they are yoga style socks with grip points on the sole.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
