This course is designed for students whose next math course is Pre-Calculus. Students in this course should have successfully completed an Algebra 2 class. This course will review critical Algebra 2 skills and extend them to give a preview of Pre-Calculus content. **NOTE: This class may meet once a week for four weeks OR "camp-style" for four straight days for one week. Topics Covered: Session 1: Rational & Radical Equations Session 2: Functions (Critical Points, Even/Odd, & End Behavior) Session 3: Dividing Polynomials & Rational Root Theorem Session 4: Exponential & Logarithmic Equations The content will be presented via interactive lecture. The students will be given opportunities to solve problems in class using the "I do, you do, we do" approach. Optional homework assignments will be posted if students would like more practice with these skills.

Materials will be provided by the instructor; a printer will be needed. Students should also come to class with a pencil and basic calculator.
