1-2 hours per week. Optional homework will be assigned after each session and should take students approximately 1 hour per week to complete. Answer keys will be posted so students may check their own work.Class Experience
US Grade 7 - 10
This course is designed for students whose next math course is Algebra I. Students in this course should have recently completed Pre-Algebra. This course will review critical Pre-Algebra skills and extend them to give a preview of Algebra I content. Topics Covered: Session 1: Combining Like Terms, Distributive Property, One-Step Equations Session 2: Multi-step Equations Session 3: Functions/Domain/Range/Intercepts Session 4: Slope-Intercept Form of a Line The content will be presented via interactive lecture. The students will be given opportunities to solve problems in class using the "I do, you do, we do" approach.

Supply List
All materials will be provided by the instructor; though a printer is needed to print the lessons prior to class each week. A basic calculator is also needed (recommend the TI-30x II S calculator)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
