Description
Class Experience
Students will listen to and think about the story, Twas the Night Before Christmas. Students will identify their favorite part of the story. Students will write their own Twas the Night Before Christmas story. Students will share their story and give kind feedback about the stories written by other students in the class.
There is no homework for this class. However, students are invited to share their stories in the classroom, and even extend upon the writing done in class by creating illustrations to go with their story!
A notebook, or some loose paper and something to write with ... as well as your curiosity and creative ideas! :)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students are assessed based on participation, which includes respectful listening during story time and as other students are sharing, as well as doing their best to follow the process of creating their own story.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
