Have you thought about signing your little dancer up for a multi-day ballet class such as my Fantasy Garden Ballet class but are unsure about if your child will like it? Try out this one-time introductory class first! To learn first and second position of the feet in classical ballet, and to develop a love for movement.
I have been dancing for most of my life. I teach dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. I teach in-person classes at a dance studio in the DFW area of Texas. I also owned my own studio for two years in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was called Dance With Jenny!
*Ballet shoes are strongly recommended, but not required. If not dancing in ballet shoes, please have child go barefoot. No socks. *A hard surface to dance on *An open space to dance on *Exercise/workout clothes *Water
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
It is highly recommended that parents supervise their children as they take this class and ensure that they adhere to the correct flooring requirement, spacing requirement, and clothing requirement. Dance is a physical art form and injuries can occur if children are not focused and not dancing in the right setting or clothing. It is imperative that students wear either ballet dance shoes or dance barefoot- NO socks allowed, as slipping is very easy when trying to dance in socks.
