Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
I am autistic myself and also have learning disabilities that I had to learn to work around. This has turned out to be a strength for me in the long run, as now I am able to help my students find ways of learning that work for them. I have been working with children, particularly children with disabilities since 2010. I have been a preschool teacher, a teacher's aide working one on one and in small groups with children who need extra help, a tutor, an in-home caregiver for a child with severe disabilities, and a community support worker for autistic tweens and teens. I also have an associate's degree in special education.
I can assign homework if you would like me to. Please let me know.
Please have a pencil and paper on hand.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
