Need help with five paragraph essays? Assistance writing or editing a paper? College admissions essays got you down? Is grammar a nightmare? I can help! These one on one tutoring sessions will be tailored to the needs of your student, based upon your request. I can provide one-time or ongoing help with homework and school assignments. Or, we can work together to create a plan focusing on helping your students improve upon their skills. Examples of skills I can help students with include: understanding and completing English and Language Arts homework assignments, understanding the rules of grammar, learning to properly structure a paragraph or essay, brainstorming ideas for and effectively writing college admissions essays, reading practice, vocabulary and more! I have an MA in English/Creative-Writing, an MA in Jewish Studies, and an MS in Clinical Psychology. Most importantly, I love tutoring and I am excited to help your student! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REQUEST A TIME. I am also open to scheduling shorter or longer sessions on a regular basis, if we determine that is what will best suit the needs of your student. Parental Guidance
If possible, I request that a parent or guardian spend part or all of the first session meeting with me, so that we can discuss the needs of your student. We can also assess then whether I am a good match for your student.
Supply List
This will be determined as we work together. I may request a copy of a textbook or a screen shot of relevant pages when helping a student with a particular class or assignment. Students may be asked to upload a copy of their work for feedback, if relevant and desired.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
