Improve reading, writing and comprehension skills.

I am a reading specialist who was trained in Orton-Gillingham as well as have taught students with reading disabilities for 11 years. Due to the high demand, I then coached teachers on how to best teach students how to read during small group settings. I am passionate about the success of early readers because it sets the stage for when they are in higher grades. The entire reason we read is to gather information (comprehend) - for fun and learning - and it excites me when I am able to help a struggling reader do better. 

Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned if parents would like practice time for their child.

On-going assessments in all of the Big 5 Literacy skills frequently so instructional decisions can be made.
