This is an ongoing class for individual (1:1) ESL (English Second Language) students of all ages and class will take place once a week.

In class, students will learn new vocabulary words and focus on reading, speaking, pronunciation, and writing. Topics will vary but will always include a theme, high-frequency words, learning to create and speak in sentences, and fun games and props.  
They will learn and practice sentence structures by repeating after me and I also use many different techniques in my classroom such as toys, flashcards, games, stickers, drawing, music, and much more. Each class is designed specifically for the student based on their age, level, and needs. 
My classroom is relaxed and positive, students receive "stickers" or rewards if they would like. Students are encouraged to repeat several times throughout the lesson, to correct their mistakes, and will be positively encouraged the entire time.

Topics will include but are not limited to: colors, numbers, foods, animals, sports, feelings, descriptions, objects, family members, school topics, toys, and much more!
Beginner students will start with letters, phonics, greetings, and basic sentence structures and focus on vocabulary words.
Intermediate students will build on their conversational skills by learning to answer questions using full sentences and reading on their own. Comprehension skills and grammar will also be included in all intermediate lessons

My classroom will be using an online platform where students can take control of the screen to play games, click on answers and, use the mouse. IF this is not possible for the student we will still use the slides and I will answer them. I also use many physical objects in my classroom and love to learn about what the student is passionate about so we can bring that into the classroom.

I have taught students of all ages for over 5 years online as a certified TESOL English Teacher.
