Class Experience
I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in Secondary Science Education. I have taught science since 2015 and have tutored students for over 12 years.
Students may have to spend up to 2 hours reviewing some concepts. Tutoring does not replace homework time, it enhances it.
Please have your notes ready along with a writing utensil/note taking device. Also, be sure to post what you would like to review during our session. If you would like to go over test prep, homework, quiz review, or anything that has prewritten questions, please post those in the classroom at least 24 hours before our session. This helps me be prepared for our session and maximize our time together.
As we go through the sessions, I will ask questions to help deepen understanding and to assess mastery.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
I may use videos to help students understand certain topics.
