Description

Class Experience

The student will improve their reading skills.
I am an early childhood teacher with nineteen years of classroom experience. I taught First Grade for seventeen years and Kindergarten for two years.I have a Master's degree in Education - Reading and Literacy, a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Business - Finance.
While I love teaching all subject areas, I really enjoy teaching children how to read. I also enjoy teaching young learners through integrated thematic units whenever possible.
Read daily to an adult for a minimum of 15 minutes and review sight words.
Dry Erase Board and dry erase markers Printer - worksheets and other printables will be used
Students will be assessed using observation and running records.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
