In this tutoring course, I will help students become more successful in school through academic support and homework help. We will also focus on organizational and study skills, goal-setting, and approaching school with a growth mindset.
Class experience
Beginner - Intermediate Level
During each class meeting, we'll discuss and prioritize homework tasks. Students will set goals for their week and reflect on goals from the week before. Beyond completing assignments, students will gain essential organizational and study skills, paving the way to academic success. I currently hold K-8 multiple subject teaching credentials in both Montana and California. I also hold a Middle School and High School Family and Consumer Sciences Credential in both California and Montana. In addition to these teaching credentials I have a masters in school administration and hold a principal license in both states. Over the past 18 years I have worked with high school students in credit recovery in all core academic subjects.
