Class Experience
US Grade 5 - 8
This class is designed to tutor a student for 5th grade science skills. The course will focus on the standards, skills and requirements needed for state requirements for 5th grade science. The course will also utilize the required science concepts and an Interactive Notebook will be taught and used. The course will also allow the student to ask questions, seek answers, problem-solve, focus on important vocabulary and be challenged to experiment as a scientist would. Hands on experimentation will be encouraged.

I teach S.T.E.A.M. classes (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) to students in elementary and middle school. I can also teach pedagogy for parents as teachers so that they can learn more engaging ways to connect with their kids.
I have thirty-nine years of experience in many subjects and grades and have served as an assistant principal and principal and have also co-authored eight books on STEAM Design Challenges. Currently, I am serving as the chair of a school board in Florida.
Teaching and learning should be exciting with a personal connection happening between the teacher and the student. Students love learning from teachers that love teaching and I love teaching!
My background includes teaching all three of my own children science when they were in elementary school and coaching golf. When I was the high school coach, my daughter was on the team and went on to become a professional golfer on the L.P.G.A.Reviews
