It is a magical world full of unknown possibilities and together we will explore it using character mapping, discussions of literary devices such as foreshadowing, and overarching themes found in literature. Students will read the book and dive in to of the world of Harry Potter using discussions, worksheets, and out of class activities to gain a deeper understanding of the book. I am a complete Potterhead to include a pilgrimage to Universal Studios annually, a collection of fan shirts,and several books about fan theories on my bookshelf. I even own more then one wand which I may or may not be practicing the silencio spell with. It is all in good fun and with an appreciation for the magical world that JK Rowling has created!
