Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
Join Matthew, an Antarctic Program researcher on his trip from the Arctic to Antarctica. During his trip he will introduce over 25 different animals from the freezing Arctic, to the permafrost of Russia all the way to the continent of Antarctica! Students will discover animals they may know, and animals they have never seen! This lesson is full of brightly colored slides and I will be interacting with the students on each slide!

In this 30 minute one time class, learners will take a trip to the coldest parts of the Earth and learn about the animals that live there and how they can survive in the harshest climates on Earth. With colorful slides, each packed with information students will leave my class with knowledge they didn't have before.

Learners do not need any prior knowledge, but will leave with full heads and hopefully an excitement for animals!
Learning Goals
Students will learn many different facts about animals and where they live and how they survive in the freezing temperatures that they do. Students should be able to identify many of the animals in this lesson by the end of it and remember some facts about it.

Whether it's exploring the wonders of wildlife or delving into the realm of ESL reading, my goal is to instill in children the same awe and appreciation for nature that fuels my own enthusiasm.

With a BA in Social Science, a minor in Environmental Studies, and certifications in TESOL and TEFL, I bring a holistic approach to education, blending my love for animals with proven teaching techniques. My aim is to foster a lifelong love for learning in your child, one joyful class at a time.

Beyond animals, I offer a diverse array of subjects including Minecraft, Pokémon Go, Lego adventures, reading enrichment, and more—all designed to ignite imaginations and foster a love for learning. Join me for interactive lessons filled with exploration, creativity, and, most importantly, fun!

Let's embark on this educational journey together. I can't wait to welcome your child into my classroom!"
