Not only is reading an essential life skill, but it can be a source of entertainment. In this class, students dive into a classic novel for this age group. Through completing class activities, students will be practicing reading comprehension skills, identifying plot events, describing characters, determining problems, defining vocabulary words, and writing a literary response. Each lesson has a to-do list with instructions (read, answer questions, define vocabulary, watch answer videos, complete Blooket quiz). The instructor will send weekly progress reports on Fridays if work has been completed. The last activity can be submitted for teacher feedback :)

Lesson 4:
Tuck Everlasting
Chapter 19-Epilogue -focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, characters, plot, and important quotes. 16 mins of video lessons

Learning Needs
*This class accommodates those with learning differences including ADHD, Autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia, etc.
*Pre-reading videos, guided notes, review videos, and graphic organizers are provided.
Parental Guidance
*Mae Tuck hits the man in the yellow suit over the head with a shotgun and he eventually dies.
*Students will be playing Blooket. An account is not needed to play.
